Too many times good initial intentions are not followed by real actions to achieve the hoped results.
A URGENT BATTLE
It has been demonstrated that 11 million tonnes of plastic waste end up in the oceans every year, damaging entire ecosystems. Every year more than 200.000 tonnes of plastic waste end up in the Mediterranean Sea, a number that is expected to double if there won’t be strategic choices.
Every year, in Europe only, 20-30 million tonnes of plastic waste are incinerated generating about 50-80 million tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
It’s clear that these numbers have to be immediately opposed. It’s time to challenge the status quo.
We are trying to do it with Rigyclò.
